Requirements
Must:
- 8-10 years’ experience in digital User Experience and User Research, preferably in complex organizations (banking, insurance, transport, law, central government)
- BSc, MSc or PhD in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, or related social sciences field, along with degree-level design education
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating closely with UX/Product/Visual and Interaction Designers, Developers, and Project Managers
- Proven track record of producing user research deliverables with strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and experience in client/stakeholder/relationship management
- Articulate and well-presented, capable of interfacing with client organization stakeholders at all levels
- Self-starting team player with strong organizational skills and a great eye for detail
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis tools, and MS Office Suite (including Visio or Omnigraffle)
- Familiarity with design and remote collaboration/facilitation tools
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to support a new client project, focusing on internal financial reporting transformation
- Plan and coordinate discovery activities, including target participants and logistics
- Engage users through in-person and remote sessions, documenting user needs and findings
- Facilitate workshops with users and stakeholders, incorporating service design, journey mapping, and design thinking
- Support design iteration and development through task-based testing with representative users
- Advocate for users within the design team and communicate project activities to stakeholders
- Coordinate knowledge transfer and handover activities to internal client teams
