Requirements
Must:
We require a minimum of a 2.1 degree in IT or an equivalent technical subject. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in a SQL Developer role or a similar title. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL Data Migrations and at least 3 years working in Azure SQL environments in a SQL Development capacity. Highly desirable traits include experience in the Insolvency or Financial Services sectors.

- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- Microsoft Fabric
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
Highly desirable skills include:
- Azure DevOps
- GIT Source control
- Jira
- Confluence
- mySQL
Desirable knowledge includes:
- SSRS & Power BI
- SSAS
- SQL utilities such as Redgate
We also appreciate any additional development experience in C#, VB .NET, PHP, or web applications development.
Responsibilities
As a SQL Migrations Developer on our small but growing team, your primary responsibility will be to work on a large project aimed at migrating our global client base from multiple legacy applications into a single global Azure SaaS product. You will actively collaborate with the team in designing a migration solution that allows for efficient and high-volume migrations. We expect you to be self-motivated, proactive, and to bring innovation and continuous improvement to the team. You will need to demonstrate excellent organization, effective communication, and strong problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to delivering technical solutions on large scale projects while adhering to Agile processes and practices.
