Requirements
Must:
- Experience with messaging solutions in Azure (NOT AWS).
- Familiarity with Azure Service Bus is a bonus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and .Net.
- Experience in API development.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain SOA solutions to support reliable and scalable information exchange between systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data team to develop and optimize message queues.
- Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus as part of the Mainstay programme.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding best practices for a SOA approach.
- Integrate messaging solutions into data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and integration between systems and products.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for solutions, including design specifications, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
- Provide training and support to data users on messaging best practices and tools.
Description
We are a large, well-respected organization recruiting a Software Engineer on a fixed-term basis for 2 years. Our team is committed to developing and maintaining innovative solutions, and we offer a salary ranging from £49,492 to £58,226 per annum. Additionally, we provide flexible working arrangements, 26 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and an outstanding pension scheme with contributions of up to 16% of the basic salary.
