- Knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and Azure.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance with GDPR.
Responsibilities
As our IT Manager, I will need you to manage and provide technical support for both existing and new IT infrastructure. You will oversee support for application software within the college and help lead the IT team, providing support and guidance on new projects. Additionally, you will monitor and actively manage the college’s network performance and usage, ensuring that robust IT and network security arrangements are in place to maintain cybersecurity.
Description
We are a Merseyside-based college seeking an interim IT Manager to join our college IT team for an initial period of 3 months. This onsite role will require you to be present 5 days a week across multiple campuses, working from Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break. In return, we offer a competitive daily rate of £180 - £220, along with the support of a dedicated consultant from Hays who will assist with compliance, paperwork, and payments. You will become part of a great team and receive guidance from the deputy CEO and management team.
