Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven expertise in Data Architecture, particularly in large, complex Data Programs. You should have strong experience in Data Modelling, especially with Conceptual Data Models. A demonstrable background in Data Engineering Design processes (ETL, ELT) is essential, along with good knowledge of Data Vault, Inmon, and Kimball methodologies. We require strong familiarity with the MS Azure stack, including Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake Storage, SQL, Azure ML, and Power BI. Proven experience with Snowflake Architecture, including DevOps integration and CI/CD practices, is also necessary. A background working with large, Enterprise-scale Data sets and sources is vital. Moreover, you should have a strong understanding of Data Governance principles, including data stewardship, data quality, compliance guardrails, data quality lineage, lifecycle management, and security. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must, along with a flexible approach to hybrid working, including attending workshops at various locations if needed.
Responsibilities
As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in our business-focused Program, leveraging your expertise to guide our Data Architecture initiatives. You'll work on maintaining and enhancing our data landscape, ensuring robust data modelling and engineering design processes are in place. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders to define and implement data governance best practices, while also driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake and the Azure stack. You will be tasked with ensuring data quality and compliance throughout our operations.
