Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Excellent Data Analysis skills
- Ability to handle large data sets for master data and manage repetitive data processing tasks
- Data management experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL is desirable, but not essential
- A graduate level of education is suitable
Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading master data management analysis and continuous improvement programs
- Conducting extensive data entry and administration
- Implementing data controls to ensure data quality
- Assisting with projects that aim to improve data performance and utilization across the operational business
- Using Excel at an intermediate level, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Supporting product data configurations, such as item creation in the system and managing costing elements and components
- Assigning manufacturing routings within the business
- Applying pricing data to the master product data and maintaining pricing listings
- Collaborating with other departments, including Customer Service, Operations, and Finance
- Performing governance and audit reviews around master data to ensure quality and generating associated reports
Description
We are a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield, and we are looking to grow our specialist data management team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £24,500 - £29,000, depending on experience. You'll be part of a small, friendly team, and after an initial two-week training/induction period, hybrid working will be available (2-3 days working from home). The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch period. We also offer competitive benefits, free onsite parking, and modern office facilities.
