Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have solid experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (Core or Framework). You should have experience working with SQL databases and writing performant queries. A strong understanding of software design principles, version control (Git), and debugging tools is essential. Additionally, you must have experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, and feel comfortable working in Agile or Scrum teams. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on scoped features, as well as the ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and collaborate across disciplines, are crucial.
It would be great if you also have front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or modern JS frameworks), experience working with or maintaining legacy PHP codebases, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, a good understanding of Microsoft Azure and GCP, and awareness of secure coding practices and data protection principles.
Responsibilities
As our Software Developer, I will expect you to design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET (Core or Framework). You will lead the development of features and components across our internal tools, e-commerce platforms, and customer-facing services. Your contributions to system architecture, design discussions, and technical planning will be invaluable. You will write clean, well-documented, and testable code that meets business requirements, identify technical debt, and help improve code quality through refactoring and best practices. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues across the stack and providing production support when needed. Supporting legacy PHP applications and contributing to modernization/migration efforts will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and provide code reviews with constructive feedback.
