Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in analysing complex data sets to identify weaknesses in data quality controls
- Excellent understanding of the principles of data quality and a track record of driving improvements
- Knowledge of data management practices and data analysis techniques and tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in taking a data-led approach to analysing corporate performance
- Ability to explain complex information and influence stakeholders for improvements
- Ability to produce robust documentation relating to corporate reporting
- Educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) or higher
- Awareness of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to Asset Management, Customer Services, and Health & Safety (desirable)
- Good knowledge of IT systems used in social housing (desirable)
- Ability to understand data tables, SQL, and/or system interfaces (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Undertake in-depth and complex data analysis to support stakeholders
- Develop and enhance our approach to data quality and reporting
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs
- Design and deliver a programme of ongoing data quality testing
- Provide assurance over the accuracy and integrity of source data and reporting
- Contribute to targeted projects aimed at improving data quality
- Produce clear and structured work plans to guide analytical activity
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders to strengthen data assurance efforts
- Identify efficiencies and new ways of working, including automation
