Technical Author

- Maintain existing documentation, ensuring accuracy, relevance and compliance with company standards - Create new design and build documents, technical specifications, user manuals and other supporting documentation - Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to develop test plans and additional technical content - Engage with subject-matter experts to gather accurate information and ensure documentation integrity - Produce diagrams and illustrations using corporate drawing packages such as Visio and CorelDRAW - Use Adobe Acrobat to create, edit and manage PDF documentation - Ensure consistency across all documents in format, style and quality - Develop a thorough understanding of company products and technologies to support accurate documentation creation
