Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a corporate or industrial security environment, or transferable operational experience.
- Strong understanding of security risk management principles.
- Skills in risk analysis, emergency planning, and structured problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to assess complex issues.
- Experience engaging and managing stakeholders.
- Competence with Microsoft and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions.
- Security management qualifications (Level 5 or similar) - desirable.
- Experience working with third-party contractors - desirable.
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management accreditation - desirable.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills - desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of protective security activities in line with established policies and frameworks.
- Assist with the management of security systems, fire service providers, and third-party contractors.
- Help identify, document, and resolve security, fire, and systems-related risks and issues.
- Contribute to emergency response planning and participate in incident investigations.
- Provide security and fire-related input into project planning, operational activities, and on-site events.
- Audit suppliers to ensure contractual compliance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support innovation across physical security, systems, and fire safety.
- Act as a first point of contact for specific security system faults.
- Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and ensure consistent adherence to Filton safety rules.
