Requirements
Must:
- Must hold DV clearance
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong skills in data analysis to identify anomalies and derive unique insights
- Knowledge of data normalization and various statistical models
- Understanding of core internet protocols and architecture
- Ability to communicate technical data to non-technical individuals
- Awareness of typical activities carried out by attackers during a compromise
- Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (sIEM) tools such as Sentinel
- Experience with MISP is beneficial
- Proficiency in programming and querying languages such as Python, SQL, MongoDB, and tools like Grafana and Power BI
- Strong ability to engage with external partners on behalf of the client
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing development projects by analyzing existing and potential datasets to ensure quality data sharing through the capability.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the project and Client Ops to proactively reduce the risk of false positives, and lead investigative efforts when they do occur.
- Advise the project lead and service owner on the suitability of datasets for program use, considering quality, volume, and other relevant factors.
- Engage with program partners to assist them in understanding how to effectively use the data shared within their systems.
- Potentially provide support on other relevant tasks beyond this program.
