Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience to excel in the Senior Analyst role:
- Proficient in operational analysis approaches and techniques.
- Advanced data analysis skills in Excel, including VBA.
- Experience in data analysis and data science.
- Previous work experience within the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).
- Strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and process design capabilities.
- A self-starter attitude combined with being an effective team player.
- Excellent communication skills to work confidently with both team members and clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and a drive to see work through to completion.
- A positive and flexible approach to work.
- A relevant degree, MSc, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with decision-making techniques and processes.
- Knowledge of operating models and organizational design.
- Software development experience using Python.
- Awareness of current software development approaches, platforms, and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Dataverse, and PowerApps solutions.
- Recent UK Defence Security Clearance (SC) is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing operational analysis approaches to deliver impactful insights to our clients.
- Adopting a consultative approach to understand how your work contributes to client success.
- Employing agile methods to develop models and tools, encompassing requirements capture, design, development, testing, and management.
- Collating, managing, structuring, analyzing, presenting, and visualizing data.
- Deriving unique insights from data to assist in senior-level decision-making.
- Producing internal and external presentations and reports that summarize processes, findings, recommendations, and decision analysis results.
- Delivering high-quality analysis and outputs.
- Taking a leading role in the daily delivery of projects while collaborating closely with clients and our team of consultants and analysts.
Description
This position is based in Winchester, Hants, and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The salary range for this role is £40K - £75K, plus bonuses and additional benefits. We value flexibility and are open to considering individual circumstances regarding working arrangements. Our main clients are located around key UK Defence establishments in the south of England, and this role entails a blend of office work, occasional travel to client sites, and work from home.
