Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience configuring IT applications, preferably in logistics, ERP, TMS, WMS, finance, or HR systems. Equivalent experience in other systems will also be considered.
- Strong communication skills to support users with varying technical abilities.
- High attention to detail marked by accuracy in builds and documentation.
- Effective self-management skills to handle workload and meet project deadlines.
- A full UK driving license, access to a vehicle insured for business use, and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Champion and support business-critical systems that drive our operations and innovative logistics solutions.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and testing of system updates, feature releases, and configuration changes as part of strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Roll out standardized system solutions and processes to new sites and customers, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Migrate legacy systems and outdated processes to our group-standard platforms to improve efficiency and future readiness.
- Continuously refine system configurations and processes to align with business needs and maximize value.
- Build strong relationships with external system vendors to support solution delivery and promptly resolve escalated issues.
- Collaborate with operational teams to tailor solutions that enhance efficiency and job satisfaction for our employees.
- Work with other Technology teams to ensure the maintenance of secure, monitored, and well-supported systems.
- Define testing requirements, write scripts, and coordinate testing to ensure smooth system changes and implementations.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, including process flows, training materials, and support guides.
- Contribute to the technology roadmap for system enhancements, steering the evolution of our technological landscape.
- Provide hands-on support during system changes and implementations, ensuring smooth transitions to business-as-usual operations.
