Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates who have in-depth knowledge of programming concepts and experience in building production-grade applications in one or more of the following areas: - .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTFUL API development, Messaging, Azure Cloud) - Flutter (Dart, Provider/Riverpod, Integration testing) - Vue.js (TypeScript, Storyblok, Vitest/Jest, Component libraries). You should have hands-on experience with modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps principles, and version control branching strategies. Prior experience with public cloud platforms (preferably Azure) is essential, along with an eagerness to explore how cloud-native technologies can support scalable, secure, and modern technology solutions. An understanding of the value of testing and a keen interest in automated testing and test-driven development (TDD) are vital for building reliable, maintainable software. You should appreciate the importance of security in software development, considering risk levels when designing and implementing solutions, and strive to always follow security best practices. Familiarity with LLMs and AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot is desired, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. We value team players who communicate clearly, listen actively, and appreciate diverse perspectives.

In this full-time role, you will contribute as part of a product-aligned squad by leading the design and development of resilient, scalable, and secure software that delivers real value to our customers. You will write clean, maintainable, and testable code, setting an example to uphold quality and advocate for best practices. Collaboration with product and agile delivery teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions that align with our strategic goals will be essential. Taking ownership of your work and seeing the real-world impact of your contributions while helping serve millions of Greggs customers daily will be part of your role.
