Requirements
Must:
- A good technical background with numerate A-levels and a numerate degree.
- Ideally, some programming experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail to identify issues and bugs, including those that arent quite so obvious.
- An appetite for ongoing learning and personal growth is a must.
- Analytical skills to collect information, categorize data, and review results to identify patterns and trends.
Responsibilities
- Testing embedded software, PC-based software tools, and mobile apps.
- Learning to analyze requirements and design tests to meet those requirements.
- Writing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated software tests to demonstrate that the product is fit for purpose.
- Implementing automated tests in various languages including Python, C#/ .Net, and industrial languages such as IEC 61131 Structured Text.
- Self-managing to meet demands across multiple teams wherever possible.
- Helping specify, design, and build test rigs.
- Working within a tight-knit, supportive test team and as part of project teams.
