Product Developer

- Develop new and existing recipes into commercially viable products, benchmarking regularly for competitive advantage - Create recipes alongside the chefs and input them onto the recipe management system - Review the accuracy of all recipes to ensure they meet cost, weight, and nutritional requirements - Ensure the viability of new raw ingredients from an operational, technical and product development perspective - Complete and review relevant documentation to ensure accuracy of information shared internally and externally - Put all products through the feasibility process in collaboration with commercial, operations, technical, and purchasing teams - Compile product costing information and adapt recipes to balance food quality with commercial brief targets - Present benchmarking, existing and new products at internal and customer presentations - Follow critical path timelines and escalate incomplete tasks to prevent delays in product acceptance and launch - Assist the process team with scale up production trials to ensure production quality matches customer-approved kitchen quality - Provide leadership to ensure that team members are safe, engaged, focused, developed, and delivering to their potential
