Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of AV Cabling, HDMI Signalling, IP Networks, Unified Communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, Google, Zoom)
- Experience with products from Extron, QSYS, Crestron, SY Electronics, Kramer, CYP Europe and others
- Good knowledge of Audio-Visual & Video Conferencing
- Experience supporting customers via telephone
- Proficient with AV & IT hardware and software, including configuration, diagnosing and resolving problems
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot a wide range of AV, UC and related technical issues
- Log, categorize, prioritize and manage incidents and service requests accurately
- Communicate clearly with users, providing regular updates and setting expectations
- Ensure incidents and requests are resolved within agreed SLAs
- Maintain accurate ticket notes and technical documentation
- Contribute to knowledge base content and identify recurring issues
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service and user satisfaction
- Work with third line teams, vendors and external partners when required

We are a market-leading IT equipment service provider located in Basingstoke, offering a full-time, permanent Helpdesk Engineer role with a salary between £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.
