Requirements
Must:
- Ability to read and understand Python and SQL code (or similar languages)
- Proficiency with version control tools such as GitHub
- Strong data analysis and reproducible process-building skills using code
- Capability to provide constructive feedback on code
- Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Knowledge of adult skills programmes and national data collection systems or ability to learn quickly
Responsibilities
- Support the team in delivering software and data systems for skills programmes
- Design and adapt data solutions to meet programme needs
- Implement quality assurance testing for all software changes
- Investigate data processing requirements for new programmes
- Review workflows and adjust priorities to meet deadlines
- Provide analysis for business processes, policy development, and ad hoc requests
