Requirements
Must:
- Strong infrastructure and networking experience
- Microsoft 365 administration experience
- VMware or similar virtualisation experience
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise enterprise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless networks and VPN connectivity
- Support VMware virtualisation environments and core server infrastructure
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
- Support Azure AD identity and access management
- Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and system improvements
- Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
Description
We are a well-established independent school seeking a 3rd Line Systems Engineer to support our modern IT infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on senior technical role offered on a permanent basis, with a salary of up to £52,000 per annum depending on experience. We are looking for an individual who enjoys solving complex technical problems and is keen to contribute to our infrastructure improvements and long-term IT strategy.
