Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience with MongoDB Atlas and/or self-managed MongoDB clusters, and at least 4 years of experience as a MongoDB DBA. Additionally, MongoDB certification is required. Strong proficiency in written and verbal English is essential.
Responsibilities
As a MongoDB Engineer, I will rely on your strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage all aspects of MongoDB architecture and administration, as well as Linux OS and Cloud administration. Your role will also involve query optimization and conversion of queries into MongoDB. You should also have a strong understanding of MongoDB architecture, including sharding, replication, and indexing, as well as experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques. Familiarity with disaster recovery plans and cloud platforms, especially VM management in AWS, will be advantageous. Hands-on experience in the use and administration of Linux OS is vital.
Description
Our tech stack includes Java, Angular, Ionic, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and MongoDB, along with Linux, Git, SVN, Ansible, Maven, and CI/CD processes with Gitlab/Bamboo. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and the position can be remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on the project. Our office is located in West London, near Heathrow Airport.
