Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years experience building backend systems and dealing with infrastructure (50:50 split day to day)
- Proficient in Node/Typescript or Python stack
- Experience with GCP; AWS/Azure considered
- Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi
- Bonus: ReactJS/NextJS experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Manage infrastructure to ensure system reliability and performance
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Description
We are a startup company in the fantasy sports domain, creating a combination of data and AI-powered tools to enhance fan experiences. Our current team consists of one Frontend Engineer, one Backend Engineer, a Head of Product, and a Data Engineer. We offer a competitive salary range of 80-90k, and this is a remote position based in the UK, requiring only one visit to London per month. Our company is profitable and just raised 4.5 million, allowing us to expand into new sports and rebuild our core experience as a native app.
