Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical program management role, ideally within multi-functional teams.
- Experience working in programs with a strong software and hardware mix.
- A track record of working with Agile project development practices.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to represent complex work hierarchies and dependencies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex situations into plain narrative.
- Strong organizational skills for managing people, processes, and product plans.
- A demonstrable understanding of managing dependencies, priorities, risks, issues, impacts, and constraints.
- Ability to work independently without daily oversight in rapidly evolving projects.
- High-level technical understanding of software, QA, and cloud development solutions.
Desirable:
- Understanding of AI or HPC systems and their component interactions.
- Knowledge of data center design, infrastructure provisioning, and management.
- Experience working with satellite teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for technical teams in multi-functional discussions, ensuring alignment on project requirements.
- Support the planning, development, and management of project schedules and deliverables to meet program objectives.
- Ensure that each team’s deliverables satisfy requirements and are fulfilled by engineering efforts.
- Monitor and track dependencies within Platform and across other program teams, and communicate near-term inputs for individual team backlogs.
- Represent Platform in program management syncs and reviews, navigating scope changes efficiently to minimize impacts on project timelines and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Release Management and Engineering teams to minimize time-to-delivery and remove blockers.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies, support teams in developing mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Provide regular updates on program status, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Facilitate the allocation of internal compute resources among engineering teams.
- Continuously improve processes, optimize workflow, and maintain the highest quality standards.
