Description

At Google, our software engineers develop next-generation technologies that transform how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. Our products handle information at massive scales and extend well beyond web search; we thrive on fresh ideas from various fields such as information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile development. As a software engineer, I will work on critical projects for Google, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as our fast-paced business evolves. In the Pixel Graphics System Software team, I’ll enable everything from simple low-power animations to complex UI, high-end games, and on-device image processing, effectively utilizing the GPU in Pixel phones. As a member of the GPU driver team, I’ll share ownership of both the kernel GPU driver and the user-space graphics driver stack. I’ll be involved in developing new features, improving performance, bringing silicon up, troubleshooting testing issues, and identifying future software and hardware needs for Pixel products. The Google Pixel team is dedicated to designing and delivering the worlds most helpful mobile experience, shaping the future of Pixel devices through advanced designs, techniques, products, and consumer electronics experiences. We bring together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build globally transformative smartphones for users around the world. Google is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. We consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, in accordance with legal requirements.
