- I hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent practical experience.
- I have 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages.
- I possess 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Speech/audio technology, reinforcement learning, machine learning infrastructure, or another specialized field in machine learning.
- I have 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, and debugging.
- I am familiar with AI and agentic tooling for development and research.

Responsibilities
- I will design and implement solutions in specialized machine learning areas, leveraging ML infrastructure while demonstrating my expertise.
- I will build, maintain, and validate hardware/software tools to enable reliable and fast evaluation of options and solutions for ML/AI infrastructure using C++ and Python.
- I will develop tools and methods to measure, visualize, and analyze ML hardware/software performance.
- I will define, implement, and validate performance and cost metrics that are relevant for both existing and future workloads and systems.
- I will collaborate with other teams, including hardware, compiler, and ML research, to enhance the overall flow and results.

I am part of a team of software engineers at Google dedicated to developing next-generation technologies that transform how billions connect, explore, and interact with information. Our products are built to handle information at massive scales and extend beyond just web search. As a software engineer here, I will work on critical projects that align with Google’s evolving needs and will have the opportunity to switch teams as the business grows. In the role of Performance Engineer, I will focus on improving and validating ML performance across key workloads, the software stack, and hardware components like GPU and TPU. I will interact with product groups and research, developing custom software tools for performance projections, validations, benchmarking, and reporting. My contributions will be part of Googles mission, prioritizing security, efficiency, and reliability while impacting cloud services and emerging AI technologies.
