Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
- Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Experience in identifying and developing system integrations to improve information management and workflows
- Experience managing MS SQL Server including optimising database performance
- Experience with implementing and managing Windows and Linux Server OS
- Experience with MDR security tools, firewall management and networking
- Development using C# and/or VB and Powershell/Bash scripting
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the organisations physical and virtual server environment across on-premise and cloud platforms
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend upgrades or enhancements to ensure technology remains secure, modern and efficient
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure components, ensuring they are secure, high-performing and cost-effective
- Work closely with IT security colleagues to identify infrastructure risks and implement appropriate remediation and preventative measures
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and effective communication between users, systems and services
- Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure critical data can be restored quickly and effectively in the event of an incident

This role combines infrastructure expertise, cloud technologies, and SQL administration, offering the opportunity to provide advanced technical support while developing and maintaining core systems, networks, and integrations across a complex environment. We own and manage around 8,000 homes in the east of England and focus on being a customer-centric organization.
