Requirements
Must:
- UK Citizenship required for security clearance
- Experience in nuclear security or closely related security roles
- Strong experience in delivering security risk assessments and solutions
- Experience in managing or supporting security projects
- Relevant security or risk management qualification
- Desirable experience in:
- Application of Security Assessment Principles (SyAPs)
- General Design Assessment (GDA)
- Vital Area Identification
- Managing risks relating to Unacceptable Radiological Consequences
- Security engineering and secure-by-design principles
- Threat, vulnerability, and risk assessment methodologies
- Conducting site security surveys
- Developing security strategies, policies, and plans
- Working within highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, defence, critical infrastructure)
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of nuclear protective security projects to agreed scope, cost, and quality
- Act as Project Manager for security-related programmes
- Deliver a range of protective security consultancy services across the nuclear sector
- Represent our organisation in client meetings
- Contribute to bid and proposal writing for nuclear security projects
- Ensure all work is delivered in line with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Description
