IT Manager

To excel in this role, you should be proficient in server management, including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments. A strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, network security measures, and disaster recovery planning is crucial. Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices, as well as experience using SolarWinds for network monitoring and management, will be beneficial. You should also have experience with Active Directory for user management and authentication, along with ITIL best practices for service management. Strong technical support skills across various platforms (desktop support, remote access software) and excellent computer networking skills (including DHCP, IIS, SQL, vSphere, AWS, Azure, and Cisco routers) are necessary. Proven project management skills, along with strong analytical and leadership capabilities, will set you apart. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent communication and organisational skills will help you liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
