Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrated experience in analytical roles involving data warehousing and visualisation tools.
- Strong track record in resolving queries, managing stakeholders, and addressing moderately complex data challenges through structured problem-solving.
- Sound understanding of data governance, data architecture, controlled operational practices, and evolving technologies.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible information for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in SQL, Python, and JSON (desirable).
- Over one year of experience working with modern back-end data platforms and processing technologies.
- Over one year of experience working with front-end data visualisation and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues within the analytics team.
- Act as the deputy to the Analytics Manager, supporting team initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and manage data-related challenges.
- Utilize data warehousing and visualisation tools to analyze and present data effectively.
- Maintain awareness of data governance and architecture standards in project execution.
Description
We are a well-established organisation in the East Midlands, seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Analytics team during an exciting period of growth. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside a team of six analysts. We embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £50K and requires 3 days per week onsite in our Nottingham/Leicester office.
