Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in ERP or SaaS environments
- Strong grasp of Agile ways of working, backlog management, and sprint planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Experience with ERP platforms (Odoo experience is highly desirable)
- Nice to have: Odoo functional or technical expertise
- Nice to have: Experience with API integrations and ERP ecosystems
- Nice to have: Knowledge of finance, supply chain, or CRM processes
- Nice to have: Familiarity with SQL or basic data analysis
- Nice to have: Experience with change management, user training, or working with external/offshore development teams
Responsibilities
- Owning the backlog: Defining, refining, and prioritising work based on business value
- Setting clarity: Writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria — and being accountable for them
- Collaborating closely: Working with internal teams and external development partners to keep delivery aligned
- Ensuring quality: Validating functionality against business needs, compliance standards, and user expectations
- Managing the roadmap: Communicating a clear, transparent plan that balances now vs next
- System governance: Overseeing assigned IT platforms, vendors, licensing, and compliance (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Integrations & data: Monitoring system integrations and championing strong data quality standards
Description
We are seeking a Product Owner to be based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, with hybrid working available for flexibility. This pivotal role allows you to own the roadmap and significantly influence our ERP platform and supporting IT systems. You will work closely with stakeholders and delivery partners, ensuring our systems evolve in line with both immediate and long-term goals.
