Requirements
Must:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt for varying technical audiences
- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
- Proficient in Python (including real-time coding) and SQL
- Experience using analytical tools/languages (Python, R or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and cloud platforms, specifically Azure, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory
- Familiar with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of running and deploying Azure DevOps pipelines is advantageous
- Passionate about data science and problem-solving
- Resilient and able to work independently to deliver projects
- Strong numerical skills
Responsibilities
- Provide data science and analytics solutions to support strategic roadmaps and customer propositions
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Markerstudy Group to drive commercial benefit
- Explore, understand, and visualize structured and unstructured data from various sources
- Maintain Data Products, Frameworks, and Tools
- Understand End-to-End Data Science / Data Product lifecycles
- Work alongside other Data Scientists and analytics professionals on projects
- Create actionable business insights from our data warehouse
- Gain hands-on experience using tools like Python and SQL with large datasets
- Develop a network of stakeholders within the first year
- Contribute to a wide variety of data products and understand their commercial applications
- Share insights, results, and identify risks proactively with the team
