Must:
- 3-4 years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or technical BI
- Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimisation)
- Strong dashboarding and data storytelling in Looker/QuickSight/Tableau/Power BI
- Experience with dbt and modern warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
- Strong approach to quality: testing, documentation, Git, code review
- Previous insurance experience required
- Nice to have: Python for data manipulation/automation
- Scale-up experience
- Financial services or insurance exposure
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data models and curated datasets in the warehouse
- Own metric logic across the semantic layer (consistent definitions, reliable reporting)
- Partner with Data Engineering to integrate and improve upstream data sources
- Use dbt and modern warehouse tooling to deliver scalable transformation patterns
- Build high-quality dashboards and self-serve marts for commercial & operational teams
- Maintain and enhance external-facing analytics products (partner reporting)
