3rd Line Support Engineer

- Act as the senior escalation point for infrastructure and network issues - Maintain high availability across servers, networks, and core platforms - Ensure seamless connectivity and robust protection against cyber threats through the implementation of Microsoft-centric security controls - Configure and monitor security controls using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID - Monitor vulnerabilities and intrusions, patching server infrastructure and client devices - Manage Conditional Access Policies, MFA, and Role-Based Access Controls - Install and troubleshoot physical hardware; provide recommendations for improving the offices physical networking infrastructure - Maintain accurate network diagrams and ensure key documentation is reviewed and updated - Ensure endpoint compliance across the estate spanning both laptops and mobile devices - Improve processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures - Attend webinars/conferences and networking events to identify trends/threats in the security landscape - Assist with the day-to-day running of the IT function and act as a technical escalation point of contact - Engage in ad-hoc project work as necessary
