Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience (7+) in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic, tech-focused organization.
- Demonstrable expertise in software design, development, and deployment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud technologies.
- An understanding of security standards and compliance requirements within the industry.
- Experience in engineering or working with AI/ML.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on designing robust, fault-tolerant systems.
- Demonstrated ability to scale software/infrastructure in response to growth.
- Effective leadership and team-building skills, with a proven track record of upskilling team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of product features in our applications, APIs, and information gathering/insights systems.
- Manage a great established team.
- Work closely with stakeholders from the product, design, and engineering teams to align technological solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Get your hands dirty! We expect our tech team leaders to develop code alongside the rest of the team.
- Understand and grasp complex product and feature goals, working with the team to design, review, test, and deliver these.
- Own features end-to-end, considering everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
- Collaborate continuously with the team to improve standards, quality, knowledge, and communication.
Description
We are Gelt, a global company with operations in the UK, Israel, and the US. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our applications and services. Our tech stack includes Backend (NestJS, NodeJS, Typescript, Python), Frontend (Vue 3, Typescript), Cloud (AWS), Database (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and various utilities and communication tools. Join us and leverage your skills and expertise to drive our success while advancing your career. We offer a full-time job type with a pay range of £70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year. Make sure to let us know about your previous experience in related roles and your availability for collaboration with teams in both the USA and Israel time zones, as well as your ability to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
