Requirements
Must:
- Willingness to learn multiple programming languages
- Demonstratable experience of one programming language; predominantly Kotlin, Java, or Javascript
- Working knowledge of Unix
- Understanding of databases from a consumer perspective
- Knowledge of HTTP APIs, specifically RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in English for effective team communication
Responsibilities
- Work within a team of 4 to 6 people, which may be geographically dispersed
- Take business requirements, divide them into stories, and iteratively deliver each story to production
- Provide product support, adhering to our principle that the team builds it and the team supports it
- Identify areas of technical debt and ensure a balanced prioritization of new functionality and tech debt
- Design solutions for new items while ensuring they adhere to technology guidelines and constraints
- Pair with other team members for collaborative development
