Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a data-focused role such as Data Business Partner, Product Manager, Product Owner, Data Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst.
- Excellent understanding of modern data platform technologies, including data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
- Experience with ETL pipelines and enterprise data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and data profiling.
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured datasets, schema design, and methods (e.g., YAML, XML).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent).
- Knowledge of data quality, compliance, and standards (e.g., PII, GDPR, CCPA).
- Strong understanding of data management and data governance processes.
- Experience managing product backlogs and delivering data capabilities in agile environments.
- Excellent data literacy with the ability to interpret, challenge, and translate business and technical requirements.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Passion for emerging data technologies and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Strategically design the data platform, including the evolution of data domains and lifecycles.
- Build strong working relationships with corporate teams to align divisional needs with the broader enterprise data platform.
- Ensure the quality, security, and governance of all data within the platform in collaboration with data stewards.
- Manage demand and prioritization through a unified roadmap to drive data literacy and foster adoption across the organization.
- Create logical groupings of data aligned with business functions to ensure clarity and ownership.
- Manage formal agreements regarding data quality, availability, and usage between data producers and consumers.
- Define and implement data lifecycles across Gallagher Re processes.
- Enable secure environments for data experimentation and innovation.
- Facilitate the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions.
- Implement data structures and automated processes to capture and manage client preferences.
- Establish foundational elements for Master and Reference Data Management and control metadata and data lineage.
