Requirements
Must:
- 3rd level diploma or degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the absence of educational qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years in an IT Management role or as a technical lead.
- Strong knowledge and experience managing and delivering Business Intelligence from various business areas and functions.
- Implementation and management of mid-range ERP systems.
- Experience with complex WAN/LAN/WIFI networks (SonicWall/Cisco/Netgear/HP).
- Experience managing Active Directory domains.
- Proficient in Office 365.
- Experience with server hardware and backup systems (HP).
- Knowledge of antivirus/spyware, spam reduction, and patch management tools.
- Experience with mobile device management for Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with mobile worker solutions (VPN/ActiveSync).
- Strong knowledge with Hyper-V and VMWare virtualization technologies.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Proven ability to complete multiple, complex technical projects.
- Ability to prioritize, research problems, document, execute, and manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Windows Server and Exchange Server.
- Competence in general client and server troubleshooting, both remote and onsite.
- Experience using WAN/LAN/WIFI networks.
- Ability to work under pressure and grow within this role.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Access to a car and a clean driving license.
- *Desirable*: Linux (CentOS/Debian) experience, Kerridge/Autoline or other Dealer Management System experience, Nortel BCM and Samsung phone system administration, SharePoint administration experience, Professional IT qualifications (MCP, MCITP, MCTS, CCNA, ITIL or similar).
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and office-based desktop support to staff/mobile users across all sites.
- Offer network and server support on-site and remotely to all group locations.
- Handle the deployment and maintenance of PCs, laptops, software, and related equipment.
- Support in-house telephony and network systems.
- Manage the purchase of site hardware and software.
- Oversee IT training for all Gaffer group staff.
