Responsibilities
- Demonstrate best practice in user-centred design for both digital and non-digital interactions

- Champion accessibility and inclusion, considering the impact of new and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with designers across other teams, providing constructive feedback and contributing to shared design patterns
- Use user research and analytics to understand user needs and identify design opportunities
- Create and iterate prototypes using appropriate tools and methodologies, advising others on best practice
- Lead and coordinate design work, supporting and mentoring other designers where required
- Actively support and contribute to the cross-government design community
Description
We are an experienced and dedicated digital team within a UK government body, focused on delivering user-centred solutions across various services. This 12-month contract role offers competitive pay of up to £700 per day, depending on interview performance. Our team values collaboration and continuous learning, and we are located in either Manchester or Leeds with 60% in-office requirements. Security clearance (BPSS) is required for this position.
