Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Engineer, or similar role. A strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems, and security is essential. Familiarity with server administration, cloud platforms, and Microsoft Office 365 is also required. You should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be able to work independently, and manage multiple priorities. Relevant IT qualifications (such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent) are preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and systems. Providing first- and second-line support to staff and clients is crucial, as you will be diagnosing and resolving technical issues. You will monitor and maintain network security, data backups, and system performance. Setting up accounts, user access, and permissions in line with company policies will be part of your responsibilities. We expect you to support the rollout of new applications, systems, and IT projects while documenting IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions. Liaising with third-party providers and vendors for IT services and procurement will also be essential. Additionally, you will train staff on systems, software, and IT best practices, ensuring compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT systems and services.
Description
The salary for this position is £41,700 per annum, in line with Skilled Worker route requirements. This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours of work each week. We also offer a pension plan as part of our job benefits.
