Must:
- Minimum of five years development experience using C# & .NET in a commercial environment
- Experience in enterprise product development
- Comfort working in an agile environment
- Familiarity with eXtreme Programming practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, SOLID, Simple Design
- Ability to think logically and laterally
- Pragmatic implementation skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Enjoyment of collaboration and problem-solving
- Active listening skills and thoughtful solution provision
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of hosting environment configuration, authentication & certificate management
- Understanding of MVC patterns such as MVVM
- Working knowledge of JS, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with architecting modern solutions
- Ability to refactor complex codebases according to SOLID principles
- Experience investigating SQL Server performance issues including index tuning
- Knowledge of implementing modern CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, testers, and other developers in a small agile team
- Develop features for our power-scheduling software product
- Participate in agile practices inspired by eXtreme Programming
- Use technical practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, and Simple Design
- Conduct Daily Stand-ups and Retrospectives as part of the team dynamics
- Architect modern solutions to replace existing functionality
- Refactor complex codebases according to SOLID principles
- Investigate performance issues in SQL Server
- Implement modern CI/CD pipelines in place of legacy build and deployment processes
