Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of five years development experience using C# & .NET in a commercial environment.
- Experience in enterprise product development.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Familiar with eXtreme Programming practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, SOLID, Simple Design.
- Strong logical and lateral thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Enjoy collaborating with others and solving challenging problems.
- Active listening and providing thoughtful solutions.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of hosting environment configuration, authentication & certificate management.
- Understanding of MVC patterns such as MVVM.
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience in architecting modern solutions and refactoring complex codebases according to SOLID principles.
- SQL Server experience, particularly in investigating performance issues including index tuning.
- Experience implementing modern CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a small agile development team to develop features for our power-scheduling software.
- Engage in practices inspired by eXtreme Programming.
- Participate in Daily Stand-ups and Retrospectives.
- Make pragmatic choices when implementing changes.
- Communicate thoughts and ideas clearly to team members.
- Work closely with product owners, testers, and other developers.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of RESTful APIs.
- Help ensure best practices in hosting environment configuration and certificate management.
- Architect and refactor existing systems according to industry standards.
- Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues in SQL Server.
