Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Expertise in one of the following technology ecosystems: Azure/.NET or Salesforce, with experience in both being preferred.
- Experience designing and delivering complex solutions on time and within budget, being accountable for outcomes rather than outputs.
- Proven experience managing application estates that handle high volumes and deliver critical business value, particularly within the financial services sector, is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across various business domains.
- Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential to deliver business benefits.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and transform business requirements into technical designs.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a deep understanding of optimizing work flow through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Prior experience in a product-centric organization is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and communicate complex IT solutions across a range of technology platforms.
- Lead engineering teams in a hands-on manner, setting best practices and ensuring correct designs and implementations, while being accountable for meeting delivery outcomes according to our product roadmap.
- Inspire excellence within teams and drive improvements in employee engagement, performance, and well-being.
- Assess new technology solutions to fulfill business requirements.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are met regarding performance, scalability, resilience, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements, including information security and industry regulations.
- Foster collaboration and product ownership among developers and testers.
- Promote the continual shift of secure, quality, and tested code activities to the left in the process.
- Work towards enhancing the implementation of the SDLC within the organization.
- Collaborate in a multi-vendor environment, providing direction and support to delivery teams.
- Improve core DORA metrics and ensure optimal flow through our systems and processes.

Our focus is on building the Single Digital Platform, centered around Salesforce, while also involving a significant .NET estate and leveraging Azure services.
