Must:
We are looking for an IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Developer with solid experience in IBM Integration Bus v9 or higher (preferably ACE 12) and IBM MQ v8.0 or higher. You should possess experience working with API Connect/Azure API Management and Apache Kafka. Additionally, experience in developing Message Sets and Message Definitions using XML, MRM, and TDS formats is essential. Proficiency in developing message flows using various node types (e.g., Compute Nodes, SOAP Nodes, HTTP Nodes, Routing Nodes, Mapping Nodes, Java Compute Nodes, File Nodes, and Database Nodes) is required. You should also have experience with programming languages like Korn Shell scripts, PERL, Java, Ant, SQL, and ESQL. Familiarity with operating systems such as UNIX (AIX), Linux, and Windows, as well as databases including Oracle 10G, 11i, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures is expected.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for the development of new message flows, DFDL message models, and other interface processes that are integral to our Bank's application internal and external interfaces. I will handle production support of existing interface processes, including troubleshooting and investigating any related issues. Understanding relevant Middleware applications and all projects being undertaken will be crucial to my success. I will design and develop message flows and message models as part of our Interface Team and assist with code reviews to ensure optimal solutions are delivered. Moreover, I will be responsible for new development, ongoing maintenance, and production support of all our application interfaces that are vital to our operations in both Europe and North America.
Description
This is a 6-month contract position located in Canary Wharf, London, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week in the office. The pay rate is £415 per day (Inside IR35). I will collaborate with various application team members and developers from other teams to carry out my development work, while also ensuring maintenance and support of existing interface processes.
