- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Jira
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical details for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in managing risk assessments and compliance checks
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison with internal/external audit, compliance, and IT security
- Handle audit requests and create timely evidence such as C# source code, SQL scripts, and logs
- Maintain an audit-ready repository of artefacts and narratives
- Understand and interpret C# code and SQL scripts for audit verification
- Operate and improve general IT controls within the organization
- Embed controls within Azure DevOps pipelines
- Create and maintain documentation including SOPs and audit evidence packs
- Assist in completing required risk and compliance assessments
- Track and manage remediation of audit findings and control gaps
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Description
We are a Tier 1 bank located in Canary Wharf, offering a 6-month contract for an IT Compliance Support Engineer role with the potential for extension. Our team focuses on regulatory reporting and compliance. This position allows for a hybrid working arrangement, with three days a week in our Canary Wharf office. We value effective controls and aim to improve developer productivity while ensuring thorough compliance and governance practices.
