Requirements
Must:
- In-depth understanding of Data and Integration.
- In-depth understanding of PL/SQL and TSQL.
- Good understanding of data quality, security, compliance requirements.
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, data modeling tools, creating data marts, and various data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Data Stage, Alteryx).
- Proven experience with regulatory reporting systems within the banking sector.
- Data Modeling and Transformation.
- Creation of Data Marts.
- Tool and Platform Management.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions.
- Exposure to Azure and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Manage data integration processes to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL and TSQL scripts to support data transformation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand regulatory reporting requirements.
- Optimize and manage SQL Server and Oracle database performance.
- Design and implement ETL workflows using various data integration tools.
- Create and maintain data marts to facilitate reporting and analytics.
- Monitor and improve existing data processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support for cloud storage implementations and integrations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data integration and compliance.
Description
We are a leading Tier 1 bank located in Canary Wharf, offering a collaborative and innovative environment. Our team is dedicated to regulatory reporting within the financial sector, providing crucial insights and ensuring compliance. This position is hybrid, allowing for three days in the office and two days working from home. We offer a competitive daily rate of £600 - £900 for this 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
