Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework, including Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including PL/SQL and T-SQL.
- Familiarity with .NET Core and web development technologies.
- Expertise in Web API development.
- Strong knowledge of DataStage ETL and Databricks.
- Previous experience in the finance or banking sector is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core across both Windows and Web platforms.
- Design and implement secure and efficient Web APIs for data exchange.
- Work extensively with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Build and optimize integration solutions for finance and regulatory reporting systems.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and providing technical guidance.
- Conduct code reviews, analyze designs, and offer constructive feedback.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to enhance our deployment processes.
- Ensure that all developments comply with banking security and regulatory standards.
Description
This is a contract role lasting 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The position is hybrid, with 2 days per week in our Canary Wharf office and 3 days working from home. The daily rate is between £600 and £960 (inside IR35). GCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
