You should have proven experience as a Database Engineer, ideally in a software development environment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps principles is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with AI-powered web applications, such as recommendation systems, search-ranking engines, and NLP pipelines is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to thrive in agile, dynamic environments, are a must.

Responsibilities
As a Database Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that support our web platforms and AI/ML workflows. You will integrate data from various sources, ensuring that the pipelines are robust, secure, and optimized for performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain logical and physical data models, apply best practices in data warehousing and lakehouse architectures, and collaborate with data scientists to prepare datasets for AI/ML training and inference. Working closely with web development teams, you will support backend data layers, user activity tracking, and data-driven features in our products. You will also establish processes for data validation, cleaning, monitoring, and manage metadata, while optimizing database performance and implementing monitoring dashboards and alert systems.
