Requirements
Must:
- Experience in general aviation avionics installation and troubleshooting
- Broad knowledge of aircraft systems and avionics sub-systems
- Superior customer-oriented attitude
- Proficiency using personal computers and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with proactive work approach and minimal supervision
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills,
- B2 and/or B1 License (desired)
- Private Pilot license or Higher (desired)

Responsibilities
- Answer technical inquiries regarding Garmin products via telephone, email, and letters
- Receive and address customer inquiries and requests concerning products, orders, pricing, and services
- Work with customers to determine the best products and services to meet their needs
- Arrange repairs and exchanges for customers and distributors
- Stay current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings
- Act as a liaison between customers and associates in other departments
- Monitor, document, and report failure trends in Garmin equipment
- Identify and recommend improvements in Garmin products, documentation, and procedures
- Review and authorize warranty service when appropriate
- Provide guidance on regulatory topics under EASA/CAA/FAA regulations
- Be available for 24/7 aviation technical support coverage on a rotation basis
- Provide fielded on-site customer support as directed
- Accept and complete projects and miscellaneous Aviation Support duties as assigned
- Represent Garmin at industry meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required
- Participate in and potentially lead technical training events as agreed with management
- Assist with Pilot Operations inquiries from within the Support team
