Must:
We are looking for an experienced Senior RF Engineer with:
- 7-8 years of experience in RF or microwave design.
- A strong understanding of RF circuits, noise, linearity, and matching.
- Confidence in working with RF lab equipment.
- Experience with Xilinx toolchains (Vivado, Vitis, Petalinux) is a bonus.
- Experience designing RF hardware for Ku/Ka systems; SATCOM experience is desirable.
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (you do not need to be SC Cleared at the start).

As a Senior RF Engineer, you will be:
- Designing RF front-end modules (LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers, converters) for Ku and Ka applications.
- Running RF system simulations and propagation modelling.
- Analyzing simulation and measurement data.
- Collaborating with modem, antenna, and mechanical teams to optimize terminal-level performance.
Description
We are supporting a growing engineering team that needs an experienced Senior RF Engineer for a long-term contract starting ASAP. This position is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site in Reading three days a week. The project is expected to run for approximately 12 months, and it falls outside of IR35 regulations. The rate for this position is between £550-700 per day, depending on your experience.
