Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a general IT support or systems administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cloud services, and virtualisation.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity practices and backup/monitoring tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials standards (desirable).
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) (desirable).
- Familiarity with ITIL or ticketing systems (desirable).
- Experience with VoIP, conferencing technology, or CRM systems (desirable).
- Basic understanding of GDPR and IT compliance (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second line technical support for users.
- Maintain and manage servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and device management platforms.
- Implement cybersecurity measures including backups, antivirus, updates, and access control.
- Manage IT equipment procurement, setup, and asset tracking.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding of staff IT access and equipment.
- Deliver small IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and office setup changes.
- Maintain clear IT documentation and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
