Must:
- Extensive Workday configuration knowledge and experience in two or more key modules (HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance & Talent, Learning, Absence, Advanced Compensation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and big-picture thinking
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of Workday security, data integrity, and compliance requirements
- Solid grounding in HR and a clear vision of what a modern, efficient, digital-first People function should look and feel like
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Ability to grasp complex challenges and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in reimagining HR processes and leading change management programs
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to Workday expert for the HR & OD team, leading stakeholder engagement and helping colleagues navigate change
- Lead the delivery of the configuration and optimization of Workday modules
- Collaborate with business leads and stakeholders to ensure Workday capabilities support our organizational goals
- Lead system enhancements, biannual updates, and releases to maximize business value and user adoption
- Develop people data and dashboards that provide actionable insights for teams and leaders
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Payroll, Finance, IT, and the business
- Streamline operations to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
- Remain calm and proactive when solving complex challenges
Description
We are seeking a Workday HCM System Lead for a 6-month contract, offering a daily rate of £600-£700 umbrella. This remote role may require occasional travel to Bristol.
